Mantra Supports International Trade Missions to Nigeria

Welcome to our third Newsletter of 2024! As shown by our recent 9th Anniversary celebrations, our company is going from strength to strength and this past quarter has been busier than ever for us!

International Trade Missions to Nigeria

As part of our security services in Nigeria, we at Mantra are increasingly being asked to assist employees of companies that are participating in various international Trade Missions to Nigeria.

Our recent activities have included welcoming UK delegates from both the construction and legal industries, providing airport Meet and Greet services as part of our Aviation Security Services and providing ongoing Armed Escort Services to visiting delegates throughout their stay in Nigeria. Our local security knowledge and close attention to detail provides reassurance to visitors, especially those that are visiting Nigeria for the first time.

We have an excellent track record of providing seamless security protection to visiting Clients, as shown in our Testimonials. So, if you require assistance during a business trip to Nigeria, please do not hesitate to contact us by completing an enquiry form at http://bit.ly/contactmantra or by sending an email to: info@mantraoperations.com

Security Advisories

In July, our Security Threats and Information Services Team worked hard to create a comprehensive Mid-Year Security Advisory for all of our key Clients. The Advisory featured a detailed analysis of the major security incidents during the first six months of 2024, including violent events, fatalities, kidnapping and piracy. This analysis also identified the states and regions within Nigeria that are most at risk from such security incidents. Our Advisory offered insightful advice and recommendations for proactive security measures to help prevent becoming a victim of crime.

In addition, in August, we supported our Clients by issuing an urgent Security Advisory on the nationwide planned protest ‘#EndBadGovernanceinNigeria’. As well as alerting our Clients to the potential scale of the protests, our Advisory also offered practical recommendations to mitigate potential security threats.

ASIS Chapter 206 Lagos Business Meeting August 2024

Once again, our Senior Leadership Team played a prominent role in this important security industry event, entitled ‘Resilience in turbulent times: Implementing effective business continuity and crisis management strategies’.

Our General Manager Finance and Administration participated in the wide-ranging panel discussion, which covered various topics such as the importance of intel in preparing and crafting emergency response plans and using effective methods of communication (including social media) during crisis management. It is clear that advance planning and testing is key; emergency response plans should be drafted well in advance with all possible scenarios taken into consideration. Risk assessment and business impact analysis are also critical elements of business continuity management.

If you require any help or assistance in carrying out a Risk Assessment as part of our Security Consultancy and Risk Management Services or preparing Emergency Response Plans for your business, please contact us by completing an enquiry form at http://bit.ly/contactmantra or by sending an email to: info@mantraoperations.com
