International Security Expo Showcases Groundbreaking Security Initiatives

The International Security Expo exhibition, which took place at Olympia London in September 2024.

A delegation from Mantra recently attended the International Security Expo in London to view the latest technical innovations and explore best practise techniques for providing security solutions to Clients. The Expo featured several conferences, including the Global Counter Terror & Security Summit and the International Security & Resilience Conference.

This high-profile security focussed event has proved in the past to be an excellent vehicle for sharing knowledge and insights and this year’s Expo was no different. With a wide range of engaging speakers, including a keynote speech by Mr Dan Jarvis MBE MP, the new UK Minister of State for Security, and excellent panel discussions, there was plenty of opportunity to keep up to date with the most recent global security trends and share security industry best practices.

Based on our visit to the Expo, we believe that Mantra is well placed to provide the innovative security products and expert security services in Nigeria that will keep our Clients ‘ahead of the curve’.

Innovation in Technical Security

Technical innovation is crucial to stay ahead of evolving threats. Many cutting-edge Electronic Surveillance Devices were on display at the International Security Expo, including several examples of camera equipment that do not need to rely on traditional electricity power or hard-wired internet connectivity.

Our own exclusive partnership with ICU GmbH, the leading Austrian provider of highly specialist wireless monitoring camera network solutions, meets the growing demand for flexible camera solutions by enabling users to install and easily move cameras to hard-to-reach locations, to help mitigate the security threat at their business, premises or assets.

The ICU Cellular Land and Observation Monitoring (CLOM) CAM5 network camera combines full HD video recording capabilities together with strong 4G technology, which enables the fast transfer of high-quality images. Once the camera has been triggered through the use of Artificial Intelligence, the images are transmitted to a smart phone device and can be viewed on the icuapp, in an email or on a PC. The camera system is designed to be ‘plug and play’ and does not require a specialist installation process. It can also be seamlessly integrated into an existing CCTV system, to provide additional monitoring options as new areas of vulnerability are identified.
