Please note that with effect from December 2022, all COVID-19 safety measures and protocols for travelling to Nigeria have been relaxed.
All pre-departure test requirements have been suspended and passengers no longer need to upload evidence of their vaccination status prior to their arrival in Nigeria. The use of face-masks is at the individual’s discretion.
Current requirements for entry to Nigeria are:
Valid passport: international passengers must have a valid passport with at least six months validity remaining after their arrival date
Visa requirements: passengers must have an entry visa, unless they have a valid Nigerian residence permit (CERPAC or Green Card)
Yellow fever vaccination: passengers arriving from a country with a transmission risk will need a yellow fever vaccination certificate
Monkeypox (Mpox): although there is no specific requirement for proof of Mpox vaccination, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention recommends vaccination as part of public health interventions
Travelers should consult their own government websites for the latest travel advisory updates prior to their departure, including any vaccinations that may be required.
