Mantra Ends the Year on a High!

Mantra Management Team at the ASIS International Chapter 206 Lagos AGM, Nigeria.

Welcome to our final Newsletter of 2023. As we reflect and look back on 2023, we are filled with great pride at the various successes that our security service company has achieved throughout the year, including in the final months of 2023!

2023 ASIS International AGM

Members of our Senior Management Team were delighted to attend the recent ASIS International Chapter 206 Lagos AGM, where we were able to play an active and distinguished role in the proceedings.

During the event, an Award of Excellence was presented to Ms Stella Okoh, our General Manager for Finance and Administration as the ‘Young Security Professional of the Year 2023’. This well-deserved accolade fully reflects Stella’s dedication to our company and our Clients, and her outstanding contribution to the wider security industry in Nigeria.

At this prestigious event, we were honoured to receive nominations in multiple categories, which clearly demonstrates our commitment to providing excellent security services in Nigeria across many industry sectors. Our nominations included ‘Best Private Maritime Security Company of the Year’, ‘Best Security Escort and Journey Management Company of the Year’ and ‘Best Security Company of the Year: Consulting and Risk Advisory’. For further information on our Maritime Security services, our Armed Escort services and our Security Consultancy services, please visit the relevant pages on our website.

In addition to these nominations, we received a Special Award in recognition of our sponsorship for the 2023 ASIS International AGM. This acknowledgment further underlines our ongoing support for ASIS security industry events and our full commitment to helping to develop the security community in Nigeria.

We are extremely proud of the recognition our company has received at the ASIS International AGM, and especially for the individual Award of Excellence won by Stella.

Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce

We at Mantra are very proud to have recently been accepted as a Corporate Member into the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC). Our CEO, Mr Aniekan Willie, was honoured to attend the Inauguration Ceremony in October 2023.

The NBCC is the foremost bilateral chamber in Nigeria with the objective to promote trade and investment links between Nigeria and the UK. Our acceptance as a Corporate Member reflects the excellent reputation and standards that our company has achieved, which was fully recognised as part of the due diligence process carried out by the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce when reviewing our membership application.

We look forward to using this excellent opportunity to forge greater business links between Nigeria and the UK and sharing our mission to provide world-class security solutions to any international business that wishes to trade in or with Nigeria. Year-End Security Advisory in Great Demand

As the Year End approaches, the threat of security incidents and criminal activities in Nigeria tends to increase. In order to help keep our Clients safe, we have created a Year-End Security Advisory, which includes data analysis of security incidents in Nigeria, together with insights, advice and recommendations for our Clients to follow.

Whilst travel, both within Nigeria and internationally, can increase the risk of being exposed to crime, staying at home can unfortunately also result in individuals becoming victims of crime. For this reason, we have drafted guidance for Clients to follow to deter unlawful activities in their home, prevent cyber-attacks and credit card fraud, and avoid possible acts of terrorism. Our Alarm Monitoring and Armed Response services are also designed to protect individuals in their homes, offices and business facilities.

Our Year-End Security Advisory has been very well received by our Clients, and our advice has been appreciated for being both useful and practical. If you would like to receive a copy of our Security Advisory or wish to discuss any of our security services in Nigeria, please complete an enquiry form at http://bit.ly/contactmantra or email us at info@mantraoperations.com

We would like to thank all of our Clients for their continued patronage this year. We would also like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

We are very much looking forward to 2024 and announcing the launch of a new equipment supplier. Watch this space for further information!
